Topics for prayer
New stand-alone prayer guide
FM supporter Shirley Dobson has produced a Prayer Guide that allows
people to pray for various broad aspects of God's work in Franceover the course of a month. You can download it by clicking here.
Villers-lès-Nancy
Please pray for the church council in the week beginning 6 May as they seek God's guidance on the best project for increasing the size of their building from 65 m2 to 160 m2. Here's one of the options to help visualize things.
Monthly prayer bulletins
You asked for a more responsive prayer network -- so we're now launching one!
This new idea is designed to provide you with more timely prayer points and with improved feedback on answers to prayer. We don’t want to overwhelm you with information, just provide concise, targeted prayers to help you feel more connected with the missionaries you read about in the pages of the magazine.
If you supply us with your contact details, we'll take it from there. This is a free service and is due to start in May 2012. Ideally, we'd like to do things via email to keep our costs to a minimum -- but, if you don't have email and would still like to pray, we can also send the bulletins out by surface mail.
Thank you for praying!

following the
setting-up of the church-plant in Albert. Ask God to bless the church’s
various groups (especially those working among children, young people
and students).

third church
pastored by Fabien Llinares and his wife, Emmanuelle. Please pray for
them as they work to see the Kingdom of God extended in this part of
France.

The
church is successfully using Dave Brown’s

transition. The church needs to reflect on whether or not now would be
a good time to plant a daughter church. Please pray for wisdom as
various options are considered.
Chartres:

Please pray for this as well as for many members who are ill. Give
thanks that the church now owns the building where they’ve been meeting
for the past 20 years.

Various
outreach activities (such as English
conversation classes
and praise evenings) have brought new people into contact with the
church. Please pray that these friends will turn to the Lord and be
saved.
Église de la Brie:
The
growth of the church’s various groups (and the
time involved in
setting everything up and dismantling it afterwards) means that church
members are very keen to buy their own premises. The ideal place has
been found, but financing the project will require significant
investment. Please pray that donors will come forward and that
solutions will be found.

Give
thanks for those attending the church’s Alpha

and peace.

Work
on the new building is entering its final
phase. Give thanks
for the 100 volunteers who’ve worked on the project for the past 18
months. In addition to a worship area seating up to 200, the annexe
provides an ideal space for the church’s Food Bank, for choir
rehearsals, and for youth work. Please pray that the space will
continue to be used wisely, especially as a venue for talking with
those who receive food parcels. Pray that the new building will soon be
filled on Sundays.

Give
thanks for several church members who have
recently been
involved in overseas mission projects and pray that the church as a
whole will be conscious of its missionary role within the city. Please
pray in particular for outreach opportunities among Muslim friends and
neighbours.

within the church in
various areas of service. Thanks to the church’s location, it receives
quite a few visitors – please pray that follow-up discussions will
prove fruitful.
Saint-Maximin La-Sainte-Baume:
The church, which started in the pastor’s living room 20 years ago, is the most recent member of the France Mission family. Praise God for steady growth over the past couple of decades and pray for the church’s various outreach and fellowship-building activities. Please pray particularly for Gary and Janet Goodge, an American couple who have come to work in the church to support the pastor, Christian Lefèbvre, who has a full-time job in addition to his pastoral responsibilities.
Thank you for praying!
